As of September 12, 2026, there are no active Steal an Egg codes and no expired codes. Games.gg checked on September 7, SuperCheats on September 10, and Destructoid on September 11, 2026, all finding zero codes. Steal an Egg has no code redemption system; the shop, index, and menus contain no redeem box, and the feature has never been implemented since launch.

Code Status and Redemption System

Steal an Egg contains no active codes and no expired codes. The developer group, "and Collect Rare Pets," has never released a promotional code since launch. No developer statement confirms a code system is planned or where a future redeem field would sit. The game lacks a redemption interface entirely, so there is nowhere to enter a code string.

Chat Command Claims

A September 8, 2026, YouTube video claims codes can be redeemed in private servers by typing `!code` followed by strings such as `1M likes`, `1B visits`, `biome update`, `new update`, or `TRexEg` into chat. Games.gg, Destructoid, SuperCheats, and GameBoost report the game has no code system. GameBoost explicitly states the chat box does nothing with a pasted string. These chat commands are unverified.

Free Rewards and Speed

The in-game free rewards panel provides a code-free alternative. Liking the game, favoriting it, and joining the creator group together pay a combined gift of 10,000 Speed, which lands within seconds of finishing all three steps.

GameBoost lists these free progression sources: * Pet index rewards for every new pet. * Treadmill for passive speed, which opens after a $1,000 garden upgrade. * Trail Shop multipliers on movement speed. * Fuse Machine that combines three identical pets into one higher-rarity pet earning more money per second.

Robux Speed bundles run from +150K to +1B Speed depending on the pack. Bundle sizes and prices shift between updates.

Progression Advice

Games.gg advises focusing on Speed early and training on the treadmill until hitting 2.5M Speed after the tutorial. Without enough Speed, players get caught before reaching their base and lose the egg entirely. SuperCheats advises rebirthing when possible for better chances at rare eggs, a mechanic other code-tracking sites do not mention, so verify it in-game.

Where to Watch for Future Codes

The official Steal an Egg Discord server, linked at the bottom of the Roblox game page, posts announcements and patch notes first. The Roblox game page description and the developer's Roblox group page are verified places to check. Games.gg speculates codes would be added only if the active player count drops significantly and the developers need an engagement boost, following a pattern other Roblox "steal" and "grow" games have followed. No timeline exists. Codes from Steal a Brainrot, Grow a Garden 2, or Blox Fruits do not work in Steal an Egg.
