Rarity ranges from Common at the bottom to Divine at the top, with each tier representing a significant jump in passive earnings. As of September 2026, the highest-earning pet is the Divine Shattered Colossus at $3.5 billion per second, while Common pets like the Chicken start at $1 per second. The 10 Rarity Tiers and Base Income Ranges

Steal an Egg officially tracks ten rarity tiers. While some older guides list nine tiers by omitting Cosmic, the current majority position across updated trackers confirms ten distinct categories. Each tier contains a specific number of pets and a defined base income range.

How Size and Mutations Change Final Income

Rarity tier alone does not determine a pet’s actual earnings. Final income is calculated by stacking multipliers on top of the base rate. The Fandom wiki outlines the formula as: `Final Income = Base Income × Color Multiplier × Size Multiplier`. GameBoost and u7buy confirm that size and mutation traits stack multiplicatively.

This means a large, mutated Epic pet can out-earn a small, unmutated Legendary. Similarly, a well-rolled Eternal pet can surpass a poorly rolled Divine one due to size and mutation bonuses.

Completing the full Index unlocks additional speed and money boosts.

Tracking the exact pet count is complicated by frequent Saturday updates that add new entries. Different sources report varying totals: games.gg lists 78 pets (Sep 8), IGN reports 105 (Sep 5), u7buy notes 106 (Aug 27), GameBoost tracks 122 (Sep 11), and Eldorado lists 127 total (88 biome pets plus 39 limited-egg pets).
