Steal an Egg Value List: Pet Income & Trade Reference (September 2026)
A reference guide to Steal an Egg pet values. Covers dev-set money/s income, biome speed thresholds, rarity tiers, index rewards, and third-party data accuracy.
Overview
There is no official value list for Steal an Egg. The developers never publish one, so a pet’s de facto value is its developer-set money-per-second income shown in the in-game Pet Index. Any trade value layered on top is community consensus that shifts with weekly updates. As of September 2026, the economy ranges from a Forest Chicken earning $1/s to the Divine Rift pet Shattered Colossus, which generates $3.5B per second.
How Pet Value Is Calculated
A pet’s real worth is determined by two factors: its passive income rate and its acquisition difficulty. Income is fixed by the developers and visible directly in the Pet Index. Acquisition difficulty depends on which biome the egg drops in, the pet’s rarity tier, and the exact Speed stat required to survive the guardian chase. Because late-biome Secret pets have extremely low supply, they consistently trade above early-biome Epics even when base income is similar.
Pet income scales with size and mutation multipliers stacked on the base rate. The developers have not published exact mutation multipliers, so the final rate displayed in the in-game Pet Index should always be trusted over third-party calculators. Multiplier tables from other Roblox games do not apply to Steal an Egg’s economy.
Base Income by Rarity Tier
The game uses ten rarity tiers, each with a defined income floor and ceiling. Base rates scale as follows:
Before the Rift update, the Divine Unicorn anchored the ceiling at $1B/s. Post-update data from September 11, 2026, places Shattered Colossus at the top with $3.5B/s. These figures represent base income; actual earnings will be higher when size and mutation bonuses are applied.
- **Common:** $1–$6/s (5 pets)
- **Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary:** $1.8K–$130K/s (18 pets)
- **Mythic:** $16K–$750K/s (18 pets)
- **Cosmic:** $220K–$17.5M/s (18 pets)
- **Secret:** $3.5M–$215M/s (16 pets)
- **Eternal:** $65M–$900M/s (14 pets)
- **Divine:** $1B–$3.5B/s (6 pets)
Biome Speed Thresholds and Scarcity
Reaching high-income pets requires grinding Speed, which effectively prices the stat into every high-end trade. Biome access gates align with the following Speed benchmarks:
Scarcity is reflected in player badge statistics. According to September 2026 data, only 4.1% of players have earned the "Hatched Secret!" badge, 2.4% hold "Hatched Eternal!", and just 0.4% have unlocked "Hatched Divine!". This distribution exists across a massive player base that has recorded 2.63B visits, a 93.2% rating, ~17.65 minutes average playtime, and an all-time peak of about 9.87M concurrent players. The official Robux gamepasses for X2 Growth Speed (467 Robux) and X2 Money (399 Robux) further illustrate how progression speed directly impacts income potential.
- Lake: ~900
- Desert: 10K
- Jungle: 40K
- Snow: 170K
- Volcano: 700K
- Abyss Ocean: 2.5M
- Prehistoric: 18M
- Cosmic: 700M
- Cherry Blossom: 2.5B (guides recommend ~3.5B for safe farming)
Index Rewards, Hatch Times, and Shop Pets
Completing the Pet Index grants one-time Speed and cash bonuses. Early entries like the Chicken reward +420 Speed and $100, while Brr Brr Patapim provides +1k Speed and $180k. Top Divine-era entries, such as Nightflame, list index money rewards up to $300B.
Hatch times factor into practical value: - Forest eggs hatch in about 30 seconds - Mid-biome eggs take minutes - Secret/Eternal/Divine eggs require hours (a Divine Unicorn egg reportedly takes 12 hours) - Huge or heavily mutated endgame eggs can stretch to 12–36 hours or longer
Robux-only Shop pets, including the Brainrot and Monster egg lines, operate outside standard biome drops. Multiple tracking guides mark their incomes as "TBC" or "Unknown," and community references warn that any quoted money/s for the six Brainrot pets should be treated as unconfirmed until officially verified in-game.
Navigating Third-Party Lists
External value lists often lag behind live updates. A September 8, 2026 guide from games.gg cataloged only 78 egg pets and incorrectly listed Bronto ($1.5M/s) as the income ceiling. Comprehensive indexes published in the same month document 122–127 total pets, with top earners generating billions per second. Because the developer does not maintain a static value list and weekly patches adjust the meta, always cross-reference trade offers with the live in-game Pet Index rather than relying on cached third-party tables.
